Raji Koshy is an author, traveller, innovator, and passionate storyteller whose life journey has been shaped by adventure, real experiences, and deep human connections. Born on March 10, 1965, in Bangalore, India, he spent his formative years in the heart of the city, where his curiosity for people, places, and life itself began to grow.
He completed his schooling at St. Joseph’s Indian High School and later graduated with a degree in Commerce from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore. Professionally, Raji established himself as an industrialist and innovator, designing and developing a variety of industrial machines. His entrepreneurial journey of over 22 years gave him the opportunity to travel across different countries, experience diverse cultures, and witness the beauty of the world through countless unforgettable moments.
His love for travel and adventure began during his school years as a Boy Scout. With dedication, discipline, and passion, he achieved one of the proudest milestones of his life in 1981 when he received the prestigious Rajya Puraskar from the Hon. Governor of Karnataka and the Rashtrapati Award from the Hon. President of India — the highest honour in Indian scouting.
Throughout his life, Raji Koshy has remained a keen observer of the world around him. Every journey, conversation, landscape, and emotion became part of his memory, later transforming into inspiration for his writing. His storytelling reflects authenticity, emotion, and a deep understanding of human experiences.
In 2020, when the global pandemic brought many business activities to a halt, Raji chose to dedicate his time toward meaningful social causes. He actively supports education for students, promotes environmental awareness, participates in tree plantation initiatives, and speaks for individuals whose voices often go unheard.
With time to reflect upon decades of experiences and adventures, he began transforming memories into compelling short stories, novels, and non-fiction works. His writings explore themes of social reform, emotional resilience, culture, adventure, and the silent struggles of human life.
One of the most unique aspects of his storytelling is authenticity. Every location described in his books is based on real places he has personally travelled to. Rather than simply describing a scene, his writing allows readers to walk through the streets, feel the atmosphere, hear the surroundings, and emotionally connect with the journey itself. His stories create immersive experiences that make readers feel like active participants rather than distant observers.
Today, Raji Koshy continues to inspire readers through meaningful storytelling rooted in truth, exploration, humanity, and imagination. Readers can look forward to many more thought-provoking, adventurous, and emotionally rich titles from him in the years ahead.
