The Silence Between the Floors is inspired by real-life urban experiences—the sudden malfunction of an elevator, the panic that grips those trapped inside, and the pressure of time on people desperate to escape. The chilling reality of lives hanging by a thread is transformed here into fiction. The story took shape after the author spoke with a group of people who had been trapped in a church elevator until help finally arrived.

Eight strangers. One elevator stuck between floors. And a voice that gives them two hours to live.

And the timer is still ticking.

A relentless, claustrophobic thriller where every breath could be your last and every passenger holds a piece of the puzzle—or the detonator. The Silence Between the Floors is a masterclass in suspense, exploring how far ordinary people will go when the walls close in and the truth is the only currency left to buy survival.
